Multiplikation und Division von Wurzeln

Die Wurzel lässt sich bei der Multiplikation auf zwei Faktoren und bei der Division auf Divisor und Dividend übertragen:

$$ \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{green}{x} } \cdot \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{blue}{y} } = \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{green}{x} \cdot \textcolor{blue}{y} } \\ \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{green}{x} } : \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{blue}{y} } = \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{green}{x} : \textcolor{blue}{y} } $$

Als Bruch geschrieben:

$$ \frac { \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{green}{x} } }{ \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \textcolor{blue}{y} } } = \sqrt [ \textcolor{red}{a} ]{ \frac { \textcolor{green}{x} }{ \textcolor{blue}{y} } } $$

Die Schreibweise Zahl mit Wurzel meint übrigens eine Multiplikation zwischen den beiden:

$$ 3 \sqrt { 16 } = 3 · \sqrt { 16 } $$
