Eine Zahl ist durch 10 teilbar, wenn ihre letzte Ziffer eine 0 ist.

Eine Zahl ist durch 10 teilbar, wenn ihre letzte Ziffer durch 10 teilbar ist.

Beispiele

Die Probe ist korrekt, wenn bei der Division eine ganze Zahl herauskommt. Die Zahl ist dann durch die genannte Zahl teilbar.

  • 1 020 Endziffer ist 0 → Probe mit 1 020 : 10 = 102
  • 12 250 Endziffer ist 0 → Probe mit 12 250 : 10 = 1 225
  • 55 000 Endziffer ist 0 → Probe mit 55 000 : 10 = 5 500
  • 99 975 620 Endziffer ist 0 → Probe mit 99 975 620 : 10 = 9 997 562

Gegenbeispiele

Die Probe ist nicht korrekt, wenn bei der Division ein Rest übrig bleibt (bzw. sich eine Kommazahl ergibt). Die Zahl ist dann durch die genannte Zahl nicht teilbar.

  • 55 Endziffer ist nicht 0 Probe mit 55 : 10 = 5 Rest 5 bzw. 55 : 10 = 5,5
  • 289 Endziffer ist nicht 0 Probe mit 289 : 10 = 28 Rest 9 bzw. 289 : 10 = 28,9
  • 5 001 Endziffer ist nicht 0 Probe mit 5 001 : 10 = 500 Rest 1 bzw. 5 001 : 10 = 500,1
  • 100 502 Endziffer ist nicht 0 Probe mit 100 502 : 10 = 10 050 Rest 2 bzw. 100 502 : 10 = 10 050,2
